2025 Theme - Stop Digital Violence Against All Women & Girls.

Zimbabwe is taking part in the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence under the theme ‘Stop Digital Violence Against All Women & Girls.’ This campaign shines a spotlight on the growing challenge of online abuse in Zimbabwe, including cyberbullying, digital harassment, non-consensual sharing of images, and other forms of technology-facilitated violence. As more women and girls rely on digital platforms for education, work, and communication, protecting their online safety has become more important than ever.

This year’s theme urges families, communities, faith leaders, organisations, and policymakers to unite in creating safe digital spaces, promoting responsible online behaviour, and strengthening laws and support systems for survivors. By raising awareness and taking collective action, Zimbabwe can help ensure that every woman and girl is protected, empowered, and free from violence—online and offline.
